Scaled Professional Scrum™ with Nexus (SPS) Course Overview
The Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) with Nexus course is a 2-day course that is interestingly designed as an experiential workshop where students learn how to scale Scrum using the Nexus Framework.
Throughout the scaled Scrum course, you are introduced to the artifacts and events within the Nexus (scaled Scrum) framework, as well as the additional (to team-level Scrum) Nexus Integration Team role, as well as more than 50 associated scaled Scrum practices.
The cutting-edge course gives trainees an understanding of how to launch, structure, staff, and manage a large Agile project using Scrum. Throughout the course, students will learn the infrastructure, tools and practices needed to successfully scale Scrum to maximize the value of their software development initiative.
Over the 2 days of the Nexus course, students will simulate a large software development project using the Nexus Framework. The SPS course is delivered using an end-to-end case study where trainees work together to organize and simulate a scaled software development project. Throughout the SPS course, trainees will be introduced to more than 50 practices (for information, you can find many of the Nexus practices here) that can be used to help reduce complexity and dependencies when executing a scaled Scrum.
The Nexus course also includes two free attempts at the globally recognized Scaled Professional Scrum certification exam.

Topics
The Professional Scrum Foundations training course (PSF course) leaves trainees with a strong understanding of:
- Dispelling Common Myths surrounding Scrum and Kanban;
- Understanding Professional Scrum;

Objectives
Trainees take home an increased understanding of how to scale Scrum and will achieve the following objectives:

Understand how to identify, minimize and remove dependencies.
Scaled Professional Scrum with Nexus Certification
All participants completing the Scaled Professional Scrum with Nexus course (SPS course) will receive a password to attempt the Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) certification assessment. SPS class participants who attempt the SPS assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.
Attendees who attend the Scaled Professional Scrum with Nexus course (SPS course), and go on to pass the SPS certification assessment will receive:
Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) certificate;
Inclusion in the list of Professional Scrum Certificate Holders
The industry-recognised SPS certification requires a challenging minimum passing score which ensures the certifications have true value in the marketplace. If you pass the SPS certification your name will be posted publicly for colleagues, managers, and potential employers to see.

In order to get the most value from the PSK training course, we recommend that prior to attendance, attendees:
- Have a solid understanding and experience in Scrum;
- Take time to read and begin to be familiar with the Scrum Guide (required);
