The Kanban Systems Design course (KMP1 course) is a 2 day foundations level Kanban training class for managers, developers, and anyone wanting to learn about the fundamentals of the Kanban Method. The KMP1 course includes the use of a Kanban simulation as well as exercises to design an actual Kanban system.

Kanban Management Professional (KMP)

Objectives

Trainees on the Kanban System Design .

  • Understanding Kanban systems;
  • Experience flow in a Kanban simulation;
  • Learn and use STATIK (Systems Thinking Approach to Introducing Kanban) to design your Kanban system;
  • Visual board design and ticket design.

Kanban System Design Certification (KMP1)

All participants completing the Kanban System Design course will receive KMP1 certification. The KMP1 course has been accredited by David J Anderson (creator of the Kanban Method) and Kanban University. Upon completion of the course, attendees will become accredited members of the Kanban University. You will receive a certificate of completion and a listing in the Kanban University member directory. KMP1 is part 1 of the Kanban Management Professional (KMP) certification. To obtain the Certified Kanban Management Professional certification, you must complete part 2 following completion of part 1.

KMP1 Certificate

Attendees who attend the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) course, and go on to pass the PSM I certification assessment will receive:

Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certificate;

Inclusion in the list of Kanban University members

What is a Kanban System Design course?

The Kanban Systems Design course (KMP1 course) is a two day foundation -level Kanban training class, certified by Lean Kanban University. It is for managers, developers, and anyone wanting to learn the fundamentals of the Kanban Method. The KMP1 course lays the foundations of the Kanban Method… teaching you the principles, practices and processes.

How do I get KMP1 certified?

In order to obtain KMP1 certification, you do NOT need to take an assessment. Those students taking a Kanban University accredited KMP1 course will be come certified KMP1 eligible to become members of the Kanban University. 

Is the KMP1 exam difficult?

There is no exam associated with KMP1 certification.

How much does it cost to become KMP1 certified?
